L’Oréal’s Transgendered Model Hired, Then Fired Days Later For Racist Facebook Rant

In the world of business, especially at the public offering level, infusing the progressive agenda platforms of the Left are regular fare. Whether it’s the choice of the type of Corporate Philanthropy or it’s championing some gender equality “thing”, businesses have continually taking up the cause. What’s interesting is when the cause you’ve taken on explodes in your face, like a defective Roman candle. And it looks as though L’Oréal is learning this firsthand.

Days after being hired, Munroe Bergdorf was fired from being L’Oréal’s first transgendered model.

From the Daily Mail:

In a lengthy Facebook rant, she wrote: ‘Honestly I don’t have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people.

‘Because most of ya’ll don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour. Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this s***.

‘Come see me when you realise that racism isn’t learned, it’s inherited and consciously or unconsciously passed down through privilege.

‘Once white people begin to admit that their race is the most violent and oppressive force of nature on Earth… then we can talk.

‘Until then stay acting shocked about how the world continues to stay f***** at the hands of your ancestors and your heads that remain buried in the sand with hands over your ears.’

L’Oreal said: ‘We support diversity and tolerance towards all people irrespective of their race, background, gender and religion.

‘The L’Oréal Paris True Match campaign is a representation of these values and we are proud of the diversity of the Ambassadors who represent this campaign.

‘We believe that the recent comments by Munroe Bergdorf are at odds with those values, and as such we have taken the decision to end the partnership with her.

L’Oréal remains committed to celebrating diversity and breaking down barriers in beauty.’

Munroe Bergdorf took to Facebook to defend her rant against “White Supremacy.”

She was also defended by Jen Sinkler, former Team USA Rugby player, who had her own Twitter thread of ridiculous racism.

And just like everyone these days, after there’s nothing more to lose, you double down on what caused you to have this issue in the first place.

It’s amazing to witness how social media can not only build you up, but can also tear you down. It also should be telling that no level of Progressive ideology will be shielded from controversy in the business world. Just as a business will be praised for taking a chance and stepping into the forefront of liberalism, it will fear being chastised over other lines that may be crossed. Food for thought for you Liberals. It can end the same way if you make the consumer feel offended, regardless of your platform.
